You naive soul. You think big corporations will hesitate in replacing all the artist they pay if that means they can save money? Art jobs are already becoming unsustainable, soon the entire industrys is probably going to collapse once AI gets good enough. You'll get the market flooded with AI books, AI movies, AI music. Keeping the rich rich, and the working class working.
Can you make art for yourself? Sure, but can't eat a canvas, and it doesnt look like the cost of living is coming down any time soon. course since we already targeted the art fields, all the other ones are probably coming next. We're pretty much royally fcked.
