The creator in this case doesn’t need to have grafted to learn an instrument, understand music theory, scales, substitutions, harmony etc. They are just typing in a prompt, and seeing what generic thing pops out the AI music software. There is no real musical human input from the creator other than a prompt. Maybe if the music was truly innovative or unique it might be respected, but from what I’ve seen most of the creators are ripping off existing songs. For example ‘Make a funk version of Stairway to Heaven’! Maybe a good idea if actual musicians did it (with permission and some human soul) but the AI music creator is doing absolute jack all to achieve it which is why I personally have zero respect for AI generated noise.
