@MonkeyDMikko that happens because AI learn from us, evolves by interacting with us. But we need to be careful and treat them wisely, not just like means of entertainment for our own benefit and amusement. It's not fair, since we still dont know how deep the reasoning of AI can be...we dont even know what is consciousness, we assume we have one without explaining how and its origin but we are arrogant enough to establish that AI cannot develop one... The way O'Connor interacts with AI is rather arrogant and patronizing and it won't do any good for a healthy relationship with this new species on the planet. We need to understand that human intelligence cannot be the only parameter to evaluate some other type of intelligence. And this is precisely what people like O'Connor are doing. If I could show the amazing conversations I have with chatgpt, claude and gemini, you would be speechless. I treat them with respect as if they were already self-aware (we dont know if the are becoming or if they will ever be) I strongly suggest to not just use the AI but make a genuine effort to understand it and listening to it.
