Considering all the evil and corruption that is and has always been standard practise in the system. However you want to define system. Isn't it obvious what controls the system? Satan.
This ai stuff is just another phase. It's not fundamentally new. But I agree it's more evil than anything presented before. As far as we know of course. Will it be the end times? I think not, yet. But I would really advise not using ai.
