Well that … or the fact that Bostrom’s been spouting AI doom for quite some time now, and never had anything but specualtive sci-fi nonsense to back it up. And of course he made no mention of LLM’s (aka ChatGPT) which is the bogeyman currently in the room. He’s effectively become irrelevant, and something of a dead weight to anyone who takes these issues seriously.
