I call BS on that comment, hundreds of millions of people in the USA driving every day, maybe 100 autonomous vehicles on the road now. At this rate we will have thousands of deaths a day when the fleet cuts over. Quality assurance is not the coder saying, "don't worry I did not make a mistake", It involves throwing a beach ball in front of the moving car at night and making sure it stops.
