@F3GR-cx9bh Notwithstanding what you said (which makes total sense), my point is that you can't safely delegate all your code generation to an AI agent if you can't verify that the generated code is correct, and you'll hardly be really capable of doing that without hands-on coding practice in your backpack.
It can also happen that the agent gives you perfectly valid code, and then you look at it and think "actually, there's a better way of doing this". The kind of wisdom that you only get from experience doing the thing yourself.
I'm also not saying that juniors should be left "alone in the wild", having to show their battle scars to prove their worth. They can be put in a mentorship with a senior, as it has been done in many places for decades (even better if the mentorship focuses more in best practices than in the specifics of the tech stack used). And this "AI forbidden" status doesn't have to last years, but at least the very first months in their very first development job? I don't think that's unreasonable.
