@kronostitananthem it's not so much that "oh they are using a new thing eww" Some people claim to be artists via AI and thats the problem. Wouldnt really be harm over than cringey if they didn't actually try and make money of it. The art world is either you get established or someone sees your art and commissions and it's 1000 times harder to get commissioned if your work is being buried by soulless art which is pumped out with a matter of button clicks and not hours of work. For a real world example a guy at dc comics has been caught using ai art for his covers. I for one think AI can be used for some great things but art was never a good idea. It's fun to mess about with but on a bigger scale it's bad news.
