Ehh I think its fine, the database for fanfiction is how i put rather shallow.
If an Ai could right a coherent and consistent narrative indistinguisjable from human writing... then that machine has consciousness. Ai are bad at generating randomness, they are pattern replicators. Which means for Art its pretty easy to get some colour on a page and call it art because the medium of art doesnt necessarily have to worry about clarity and consistency. As Art is already Very Vague, Ai doesnt have to be precuse about what he replicates.
Ask an AI to write a harry potter bookthou, it may produce gramtically correct sentences. but it doesnt actually understand anything being written. If you try to AI generate a recipe, you wont get anything coherent because it doesnt understand Taste, doesnt understand what the purpose of ovens or Mixing is for. Consciousness is required for an AI to be able to write efficiently.
