WHO THE HELL CARES?? honestly questioning the artists for permission is like doing the real work if you want AI to make everything for you then you are just missing out on life nothing is going to come up to you easily and if it "slows down the evolution of AI" then okay but artists need to put food on the table maybe you can make a website where people can submit their art and make ads for it slowing down the evolution is such a minor thing compared to people needing to eat
you have two options
one: you can be rude and continue using art from people and possibly be in legal issues in the near future but AI evolves faster
two: ask artists to help train the AI and maybe even use copywrite free images to train AI
