What personal use truly means is using the art in such a way that only you can access it. The moment you made the ai generated art your profile pic , it stopped being personal. It's basically theft. One Ai generated image steals from 100 other original works. So while its not illegal.. yet. You're still subconsciously doing something extremely immoral.
And here's a counter argument. If someone loves sports and isn't good at it... Just practice or give up thats it. Like food but don't know how to cook? Practice or give up. Same here. Love art? Practice or give up. Honestly Ai art is for whiny brats who wanna make art and but are too lazy to give a damn about working hard for it.
