to elaborate for anyone else reading this, with all these ai-generated images being shared indiscriminately all over the internet, which is a primary source of training data, without labelling... it's essentially poisoning its own well. even mixed-in with real data, the model will just end up amplifying the same mistakes it made before. garbage in, garbage out.
