@mez8384 But modern AIs are precisely not 'designed'. As many has said, these systems "are grown, not built". No one codes or programs these neural networks, which are complete black boxes for even the human engineers working on it. The process of growing these AIs through Gradient Descent actually has much more in common with natural selection than with traditional engineering or any form of 'intelligent design'.
