@AdriusFrostglare Scientists work towards creating AI because it can accelerate our progress. There will always be bad actors abusing/misusing any technology. There are already folks working on neuromorphic AI that mirrors brain's architecture which is way more efficient, so even if LLM progress stalls, research is going to shift there.
