I don't see why more Yangers can't agree with this, short term automation is easily handled by creating more jobs with GND/FJG and is more productive and necessary to rebuild infrastructure and climate change. Long term I'd prefer a tiered AI means tested Basic Income since I think flat UBI is too rudimentary, and progressively tax funded of course unlike Yang's FD. But we should figure it out then, for now Bernie should be the next president, he's no boomer, he'll deal with cybersecurity and AI advancements well.
