@ThePickelSurprise that doesn't answer the Pandora's box problem. Which is that it exists, and without a human it would not be there.
If ai art is theft, so is recreating anything in the styles of others. Like dude said^, Or just flat-out recreating something. Which is what so many refuse to acknowledge. Also legal consent can change on a dime. Don't need AI for that. You want to argue that AI isn't art while while also saying consensual recreations is somehow art and also not theft. Make it make sense.
Either someone made it or someone didn't. You can't have both or neither.
