And despite your obvious stance against it, i dont see another option. Corperations will ALWAYS go with the cheapest option and the A.I pandora's box has already been opened.
Unless conservatives are willing to abandon their "small government" obsession, ban all A.I, and enforce that ban with overwhelming totalitarian force, then the only other option is a more collectived top-down government and society with UBI.
