Animated cartoons, movies, anime, etc are art in the form of their story not the animation. There is no "fundamental" point in animated art. There is no subjective value, its either the animation is fluid and has good art or its dogshit.
"you don't need their praise", majority of "art" consumers never praised nor gave a shit about the artists, they only care about the end product. Ur telling someone to not care about what their biggest consumer base thinks?
AI will definitely shape the future, it won't completely take over jobs, especially those jobs that require creativity and human emotion (unless artificial consciousness is possible), but it will definitely be a big part of the future. Coping and thinking that AI won't take its place in the art industry is pure stupidity, ur advice to upcoming artists shud be to adapt to Ai art and use it to their advantage. A normal guy with no art skill is going to be inferior to an Artist if they both have access to AI. Most that refuse to accept this and not adapt to AI will get laid off, its reality and u need to wake the fuck up
