I do agree with the premise of the video, to be clear. I just feel like the defense of human-generated art sometimes verges too far towards the AI tools should be banned side of the spectrum. My use cases for AI-generated imagery are functional uses - I need a throwaway token to represent this character in my tabletop rpg session, a quick placeholder texture for my game, etc. There's lots of uses of "art" that aren't really "artistic" in nature - they're functional. That or they've always been soulless like corporate art and clipart. The point isn't to evoke some kind of human emotion - it's to just be an eye-catching banner or soften an otherwise dull presentation. Just like the cheap ikea table is just there for function and not to show off human craftsmanship.
