Whitney Pyant I agree that it indeed is woman's fault too (Humans are dumb and they will always be). Most probably a human driver would have hit her too but you have to understand that the technology used in these cars are far more advanced that they could see in the dark. Uber needs to re-calibrate and fix these issues.
Where I come from, people jaywalk all over the place (not even illegal). We just cant expect everyone to follow rules. What Uber and other autonomous car tester's can do is be extra vigilant.
