Its pretty clear to me that you dont actually know how AI works. You are correct in the idea that it doesn't "steal", it has no concept of theft. It is the humans who run it that steal.
AI is not "inspired" or "creative" because it is a computer program. It takes a noise texture, applies denoising, and color gradients until it kinda looks like the image you want. It does not SEE what it makes. It only compares X,Y data, and colors to the original.
That isnt' ART. that is an IMAGE.
and you could say "oh well ummm!!!! actually the person using the ai is the artist,,,,,,,"
