lol you do not know what you're talking about. The very first ai anything, the perception was invented in MIT. If you're talking about Geoffrey hinton's work to take that further, while he is a British and Canadian citizen, that was invented in the University of Toronto. Only thing you can say is British is deepmind's work on RL and stuff like alphago.
