….? Ai is FAR more environmentally friendly and energy efficient than is digital art. It’s…not even close.
For a 10 hour digital painting made by a human (the average animation background), it uses 3 kWh of energy.
For four generations of similar scope generated by the ai for the user to choose from it uses only 0.2 kWh of energy. And that scales all the way down to a simple digital sketch.
So if someone is concerned about the environment they should use Ai as much as possible in their workflow, as it is by far more energy efficient.
