If someone wants references for personal use, they could easily use image editing, make collages or just use words for descriptions. There are plently of better options than AI, which is ethically dicey since it's bad for the environment due to high energy use, bad for artists and uses data for training without permission. Honestly making bad art is always better and more fun than AI.
