@TheParadigmAI You seem to forget that every model is better than the last, and it's all moving at a breakneck speed. In the span of three measly years we've gone from a chatbot that made constant mistakes, and couldn't solve elementary school level problems, to AIs closing in on phd level competence in most areas. They are already having a disruptive impact on entry level office worker positions. Why do you think that process will stop as the AIs keep getting smarter and able to do more tasks independently? To me it all looks like a foregone conclusion. Humanity will be rendered useless. The only question is how fast it will happen.
