If that's not a massive red flag, I don't know what is. Such an enthusiastically positive response to such a horrific scenario is the mark of a true psychopath. If many of the big AI developers truly think like this and are like F precautions, we may very well be f***ed. At least the developer of Skynet in Terminator completely changed his tune when he was faced with the reality of what his machine would become. It feels like we're just at the mercy of psychopaths in this reality, speed running potentially demise in the name of technical progress, profits, power and influence at the expense of us who they seem to view as disposable pawns.
