no human is born and raised in a bubble, everyone is copying everything they see around them, brain is a learned prediction machine not just when it's trying to be creative but in every muscle movement. if AI is guilty of something it's that it's not given more reference material, that's why what it produces is sometimes seen as derivative because it doesn't have decades of visual memory to pull from.
re: artsyle, art has been studied for long time, there are objective measures of aesthetically pleasing works. using those principles AI can generate any number of artstyles, but when it comes up with cubism 2.0 etc would human artists respect that as creativity?
