Here is the thing though. The creative community are pushing for regulations because AI is unethical at the moment. the goal is to make AI ethical, not disappear. But if the genie will continue causing trouble and doesn't learn how to behave the lawsuits will have to put him back in until further notice.
Stop being such a defeatist. AI will never be better than the creative community because humans have ideas and put their souls into their works. Something that AI lacks. Humans are not machines.
