@74oshua Definitionally, plagiarism is a copy or near copy of someone else's original work or image without attribution. Some AI art might be too close to an original piece, and in that case, it fits the classic definition of plagiarism.
I'm definitely not arguing that AI doesn't "steal" in a sense, however the jury is still out as to whether -- or to when it's theft.
I could argue LLMS learn akin to how human's learn from other's work and in that case as long as the output is original enough they aren't explicitly plagiarizing.
To argue that JUST coloring in something that Shad drew is definitely theft given this context and the fact none of this is settled is a stretch -- there are good examples of theft and this isn't one of them.
