@one-of-a-kind6606 do you genuinely believe that the elites would support us, materially, rather than allowing us to die? In America, we don’t even get universal healthcare, and the costs of private healthcare have risen substantially in the last decade. Many European countries have been moving towards a more privatized system. All sorts of social programs have/are being cut. But suddenly, when AI arrives, the elites will become more generous than they’ve ever been? Makes no sense. They’ll just kill us and/or let us die.
