@pressspacetostop I don't think you know how AI works at all, so, as an IT student, I will tell you why AI DOES degrade.
1- AI systems today are mostly trained to continuously learn, and so if they don't have access to new data (for example, if artists start poisoning their art), they will forget everything since all the old data will have been mostly discarded.
2- If AI generates based on old data years after it was relevant, the world would have changed too much for what it's generated to be relevant.
