Welcome to the world. Translators, tram, taxi, and subway drivers, musicians, medical professionals, and many others have already been replaced by AI. E.g., no one asked translators for their permission to use the bilingual texts they created during their hard daily work, but big corporations like Google just scraped the Internet to use people's work to create AI-aided translation tools (which you probably have used at some point of your life already). There's no ethics when it comes to making money in this world. What people should be fighting for is UBI and redistribution of corporations' super profits to people through governments, and not protection of their copyright, which is honestly not working as we've seen many times with YouTube and smaller performers and musicians.
