@kigelabergood point but it’s a false equivalency. For one it’s not socialism. It doesn’t eliminate private property but encourages it. It’s market capitalist based solutions to ai creating post labor economy . Socialism has no private property. It’s post labor economy and it works within capitalism
So jitd ust way to deal with ai eating up jobs within the market system by expanding social welfare and encouraging people buy private property to make money from dividends.
It’s more likely to happen for one it works within an existing system rather than a fantasy sci fi trope. You’re afraid of something has not been invented yet. So you don’t know the risk. We have automated jobs before so it’s just future pattern. If ai does try to kill humanity in the future we should just give up and advocate for it in hopes that it spares you because there nothing you can do about it anyway!
Seriously much more realistic to imagine more narrow limited ai that will replace most jobs then super intelligent ai that will be demigod able to wipe out all humans. A day labor robot will come first and is much much more likely then ai that can fart out a black hole or invent new nano machines to eat you.
By the way I get it your prejudice against socialism but this not thst.
