even if ai is "just an algorythm" like you seem to believe... ask yourself what would happen to a human person if it only has yes men around it at all times?... the answer: in 99% of the cases they become drunk with power and the overwhelming feeling that they are right about everything and anything and they don't need to study or question anything anymore...
the logical conclusion to the hypothesis that ai is just an algorythm is the slow destruction of the human psyche from within, especially of the newer generations that are terminally online and only live on the interwebz 90% of the time...
