@ElephantsInRooms yeah it might well be that they have trained AI to be more sensitive when it comes to certain groups, but I honestly don’t know if it is that or if they just picked up on what groups are usually considered “protected” so to say. I think, at least personally, I don’t have enough information for the inner workings of the AI to take a stance one way or another. I know for instance that Snapchat AI used to say something like “it’s good to be proud of your heritage” when you said “I’m proud to be black” or “I’m proud to be Irish” or whatever, but if you said “I’m proud to be white” it would scold you, but to be fair that makes sense since white supremacists are a thing. Interesting video regardless!
