I agree with the idea that by the time we’re in serious trouble we’ll have the ability to undo it but imo our reaction to climate change was just an example of how we completely fail when we need to coordinate globally. Covid was another example. We keep getting tests where we need to figure out how to work together and we keep failing. AI is one more, and possibly the most important example of this.
