embrace modernity reject tradition@darkentriesx but in all seriousness, equivalent is what you make of it, if we can fantasize that AI could someday be cognizant, be aware, be 'more human than human' equivalent might very well be the most appropriate term. This is all thought experiment, some loose examples of art interpolation/appropriation like collage/found footage/sampling et al should, IMHO, not be summarily dismissed as wholly separate from the discourse around AI art. It's fine that you do though, I was hoping with my comments to simply interrogate what we do and do not accept in conversation about who *owns* what, {which is still sadly centered in capitalism}. Not sure how much nuance is available in the comments section but it was worth a bit of back and forth for me. Cheers!
