@remfan170 She’s helping me to hip to the kids as well! Though I won’t be 31 for another 2 weeks, so she’s a full decade older than I am 😭
I also keep my bubble curated so that I don’t fall down the rabbit hole further I want to, and so the red pill/manosphere content that I’m already aware of doesn’t dominate my feed. I already know far too much about the manosphere after exposing myself to a variety of channels that specifically create content for their red pilled audience. Let me tell you, it’s really bad. So I make sure to regulate the politics in my algorithm to include a handful of conservative channels alongside more progressive channels, all while I make sure to have entertainment escape hatches such as chess and unobjectionable video game entertainment (gothamchess, Hikaru, Alpharad, Abyssoft). I definitely agree that being able to curate our bubbles is an important skill, and that randomly allowing the algorithm to assign people to a group is something that has a lot of potential to be a bad thing.
