the thing is why we would consider it a problem to begin with?
people have been using photoshop to create art and slower technologies like physical pencils, chalks or brushes can produce similiar outcomes. AI is simply another type of brush that quickly turns your imagination into a valid picture.
but why don't we make a fuss out of photoshop? because it's still considered work? what does this work mean to you then? the effort to create imaginative pictures to employ skills and impress who? to employ creativity? to waste time? what makes it worthwhile to begin with? what technology closes the gap of being representative by a human or by an artificial intelligence? handwritings by blood? stone carvings?
why does the old system need to be taken in consideration to be entitled as an "artist"? can't we create a new system of validation?
