I think the idea is that your average person who is unable to physically (or mentally I guess) to learn how to make art, really has no other option, you could commission someone but thats out of the cards for a lot of people, so I understand the argument, AI art makes art more accessible but I'd not say its a huge deal. Its like Nintendo advertising the decor pikmin in the pikmin 4 update while secretly adding a hard mode, like sure thats cool but theres more important things to focus on.
