I think this is an opportunity to get closer to that. There’s been such an immense gap between productivity and wages for decades. This could be a great opportunity to realize “hey maybe we don’t gotta do all this stuff that isn’t fulfilling”. I’m not naive enough to expect it to happen, but i think that’s what CAN happen. Yay, we’ve automated our jobs! More time to play music, learn new skills, and create art.
