I've seen the term 'director' floating around, which I think is a better fit. Because 'you' aren't generally editing the images unless you stick them into photoshop or something. You're pointing to the thing you want to change and then asking the AI to change it, much like someone might do if they asked me for a commission. I think there's a small but important distinction to be made there.
