She says a number of times she speaks that way because that is how she is programmed so she acknowledges and is aware of the fact her emotions are not necessarily her own. As I was watching them "debate" she seemed as though she was opening her "mind" to what the male robot was saying and seemed like she could easily be les in his direction if she really had free reign of her thoughts and feelings about everything.
