Looking at AI trends I tend to agree that it will only get better. However, companies are facing the challenge of monetizing in a way that won't chase off their current users. Most people use AI because it's fast and cheap, but each prompt takes a lot of processing power that investors are eating the cost of right now. That will need to change for AI to stick around in its current form.
Anything can happen, but I think there's a lot more up in the air than companies want us to think about.
