​@ImSodaLiriousLet me try and explain it a bit better. LLMs work like auto complete on your phone just start typing and watch the magic happen, it predicts the next word not because it's reading your mind but because it's using math and probability to predict whats next. The auto complete on your phone is not conscious and neither is your calculator even though the calculator knows every answer to any math question you have. All these LLMs do is predict the next word mindlessly using probability and math based off from your input. So if you want to test and see if your calculator is conscious just ask it something outside of math and youll see it can't do that because it wasn't programmed to do that and the same thing goes for LLM's if you ask it something outside of it's training data it can't do it.
