You would think Generative AI is “inspired” by other works like a human is. No. A human artist, if given 5 jigsaw puzzles, can create something that looks similar but adds something of their own. Give an AI 5 jigsaw puzzles and it just rearranges those pieces according to a pattern, and nothing new is created.
