Very good point , I had a mazda cx9 as well .
The huge difference is that this system uses machine learning and has AI etc . It can drive indefinitely INTO the sun and not have an issue.
The cameras are actually divided into 3 one for close “focus” one for medium and long range aperture so I guess it can use any of them and together with algorithms the sun isn’t an issue .
In afraid that will never be possible In a limited system for mazda cause it’s a simple camera connected to a basic software that nudges the steering slightly (if u have that feature ?😊
