@AdversaryOne No. Think about the social and psychological implications of replacing all commercial art with this slop. 2 major factors inhibit the preservation of this civilizational pillar:
1) In a society that now more than ever views non-monetizable pursuits as inherently wasteful and frivolous, all forms of art are now non-monetizable.
2) Generation after generation will be raised in a media environment with little to no concept of art as a fundamentally human endeavor, but as algorithmically generated stimuli with no value or meaning beyond its ability to temporarily distract on the most basic level. Keyword 'distract'. Occupy. Not even please or stimulate--think about the doom scrolling that already happens. We already stare at our phones blankly for hours at a time with nothing but the barest traces of amusement, and then forget everything we saw. Hopeless, society-wide addiction to something we don't even like and we know is actively making us stupider. Now take away all our previous personal experience with art as something that people do, as something that is made with consious intent and thus layers of meaning intended and not intended.
There is no way that art as a societal practice survives that. So if our owners get what they want, art doesn't shrink or change shape. It goes away.
