It's true also for the anti-AI people too. For example, people don't care that their shoes are all glued together in Chinese factories and that hand-stitched shoes and the art of shoemaking are dying a slow death. They want cheap shoes that are "good enough" and the process of making them is irrelevant. Same happens in other fields, including stuff like wall decorations or decor. People who shop at Walmart or Target (which is basically everyone) don't care that none of the stuff is unique or made by a highly trained artisan and that the flood of low-quality-but-good-enough stuff from these stores shrinks the market for real artists.
The youtubers themselves who attack AI and defend "real" art rarely even own any original oil paintings or sculptures (etc) at all and often have completely blank walls. If they cared so much about artists and traditional art, that is not what you would expect to see.
