Yes, AI is suppose to be a tool for that... but... just like how Einstein was able to get Nuclear Fission working for Nuclear power sources... he also.. inadvertenly... made the Atom Bomb possible.
A lot of good tech gets made for the benefit of mankind and then someone with a greedy agenda figures out a way to ruin it's good name.
If you invent a cure for cancer, someone else will sell it for a higher price as a "cure-all" since it cures cancer and therefore it will cure someone's autism for 1 injection a day.
And that's a sad truth.
